Viatorians from the Arlington Heights/Chicago region met on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL for a prayer service in honor of Fr. Louis Querbes, the founder of the Viatorian Community and for all deceased Viatorians as well. This years the service was led by Fr. Tom von Behren, our Provincial.
Red carnations were placed at each grave stone – 115 in all. During the prayers, individual names of the deceased CSV were read out loud and if they are buried in other cemeteries that was mentioned as well.
It was a beautiful morning at the cemetery and lunch followed back at the Province Center in Arlington Heights.
