Each summer as we prepare for the annual Provincial Assembly, the exhibit cabinet in the Province Center showcases photographs from the previous year’s meeting. The photographs, taken by archives intern, Clare Dussman, are colorful and candid shots that reflect the activities and events shared by the associates, brothers and priests during the 2 1/2 day Assembly in 2012.

A cassock cord with tassels – worn by the newly vowed Brothers in days gone by – forms the shape of a heart that hold the photos. Two more cords, knotted up in a macame-like design – just like they used to tie them – hang from either side of the heart. The liturgy booklets from the Associate ceremony and the Jubilarian ceremony are also on display.

This display will hang until the end of August or mid September.
