Good news travels fast, especially when it involves young people going above and beyond to help others. In this video, you’ll meet John O’Neill, and hear from Fr. Corey Brost, CSV, one of many Viatorians who inspires him.

John is a Saint Viator High School junior who started volunteering this year at a homeless shelter with his classmates. Before he knew it, he looked forward to getting up early every Thursday morning to gather with his friends and clean up after guests had left. Now, he feels passionately enough to help them find shelter — after the church space he worked at was forced to close — that he’s started a GoFundMe page that is raising approximately $1,000 a day. All funds will help the homeless served by Journeys: The Road Home, find isolation in nearby hotels during the pandemic.
