Thrilled to tell you that the 1937-38 St. Viator College newspapers are now available online – full-text with searching capabilities!  This is the last school year before the college closed for good.  Read what was going on with the students, faculty and the Viatorian priest and brothers at the campus in Bourbonnais, IL.

The digitization project has been slow going and gears were switched part way through.  You will find some of the very early years as well, called St. Viateur’s College Journal, but a decision was made to work in reverse chronological order – from 1938 back to the beginning publications.  The most recent materials will have more interest, especially to alum and their families who may be researching.

Follow the links to the issue you want to read.  The newspapers are posted using Issuu – a digital publishing software.  Familiarize yourself with the various functions for zooming, searching, page turning, etc. – it’s pretty intuitive.  Let me know if you have any questions or problems.
