The Viatorian General Direction has relaunched its website, another initiative toward stronger international Viatorian ties. All pages are available in English, Spanish, and French by using the language menu in the top-right corner.
Our members live, serve, and study in 13 countries. On the renewed website, each country has its own page, and each one has been updated with fresh content, including histories, current ministries, and photos.
The informational pages – on our charter, the Venerable Louis Querbes and St. Viator, international leadership, and more – offer a zoomed-out perspective and supplement our provincial focus on Viatorians.com.

The General Council newsletters are available online, including this newest issue for July 2026.
Additionally, the General Direction releases a monthly newsletter that features news from our international activities, stories on visits by our leadership to various countries, and pastoral messages from Superior General Fr. Nestor Fils-Aimé, CSV. Fr. Nestor shared his thanks with Mr. Collinx Mondésir, who serves as webmaster for the General Direction, for completing this improvement project.
“This site is much more than a simple information page; it is a privileged space to immerse yourself in the heart of our identity,” Fr. Nestor said. “We encourage you to browse the different sections to better appreciate and make others appreciate the richness of being and acting Viatorian throughout the world.”
In the United States, we have hosted fellow Viatorians from other provinces for studies in our country, including during the past few years Fr. Jean Didier Sohótode, CSV, of the Region of Ivory Coast, Br. Metxu Salazar, CSV, of Spain, and Br. Marc-Innocent Prophète, CSV, and Fr. Dudley Pierre, CSV, of the Region of Haiti. Additionally, our members have often gone to our Foundation of Colombia to study Spanish or minister there, and our Colombian brothers have often come to the US to study English and theology.

Recently, Fr. Tom von Behren, CSV, and Br. Carlos Flórez, CSV, visited the Province of Canada. During their visit, they enjoyed a meal with Fr. Nestor, Provincial Superior Br. Jean-Marc St. Jacques, CSV, and former Superior General and Provincial Fr. Alain Ambeault, CSV.
As the international newsletter shared, the General Council’s pastoral visit to Colombia is coming up in late September – the council spends time in each country where we serve, checking in with members and leadership and maintaining connections across our community. Also in September, General Treasurer Fr. Fredy Contreras, CSV, of Colombia, will gather the treasurers of our provinces and regions for a summit meeting in Chile; Fr. Tom currently serves as our provincial treasurer.
