Collectively, they bring a wealth of experience to the Viatorian Community — from a former librarian, ironworker and hardware company executive, to a pharmacist and pastoral administrator.

But these five adults — all from the Las Vegas area — find common ground in their decisions 10 years ago to join with the Viatorians and become associates.

Next month, they will take the next step, making definitive commitments. After serious discernment and a one-day retreat, led by Fr. Thomas von Behren, CSV, provincial, the associates will make their definitive commitments at the Viatorian Provincial Assembly — before the entire community —in Las Vegas.

Viatorians call it, living in the context of a God-centered life.

“Associate commitment offers an opportunity for individuals to experience the strength, support and challenge of belonging to a faith community,” says Fr. Lawrence Lentz, CSV, assistant provincial. “The Viatorian Community as a whole is enriched by the diversity of experience and talents each associate brings.”
