Oscar is community member, father of two daughters who are U.S. citizens, and an active parishioner at St. Viator Parish in Chicago. He has been fighting his deportation case for several years. At his September, 2019 check in he was given six more months. Now, he has to present himself March 24th, and officials with the Resurrection Project are asking for community support.

“Oscar’s Stay was denied and we’re running out legal recourse but we’re determined to try to get him another year since so much can happen with the elections,” says Erendira Rendon, director of national partnerships with the Resurrection Project.

To Support Oscar, meet at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 24th, at 101 W Ida B. Wells Drive in Chicago.
