For more than 20 years, the Washington-based Jubilee USA Network has worked to reduce debt in the world’s poorest countries, arguing that resources should go to reducing poverty and providing healthcare and education for those most in need. During its Jubilee Weekend — Oct. 16-18 — its leaders are highlighting ways to cure poverty, inequity and the coronavirus. The weekend is timed with meetings between the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. Here are some action items to help the world’s most vulnerable during this critical time.
