The Viatorian Community supports the work of the Social Justice Resource Center, which is to link faith to action by providing information and resources on the social issues of our time.

Viatorians stand in solidarity with its mission, which states that “social teaching is central, not fringe; social ministry is integral, not optional; it is the work of every believer, not just the mission of a few committed people or committees.”

The center’s latest newsletter offers ways for people to become aware of events happening in a variety of issues — capital punishment, criminal justice system, domestic abuse, economic justice, education system, environment, gender inequality, gun violence, health care, housing, human trafficking, hunger, immigration, labor, minimum wage, poverty, racism, refugees, religious intolerance, U.S. budget, voting rights, wage theft, war, water access and welfare — with tips on how to analyze the situation, offer reflection and specific ways to decide and act.
