The Holy Family image on my Christmas card is of a metal sculpture that hangs on the wall at the bottom of the staircase here at the Viatorian Province Center.  Just always loved it!

And of course, as I now found out, it has some historical significance with our building.  Br. Don Houde, CSV, told me that the Holy Family sculpture was designed by the Chicago architect, Edo J. Belli (1918-2003), who designed the main section of this building.  Edo J. Belli and his brother Anthony J. Belli’s firm specialized in Catholic ecclesiastical architecture.  Other Chicago area buildings designed by Belli & Belli are St. Patrick High School, 1954; Cueno Memorial Hospital, 1957; and St. Joseph’s Hospital, 1963.
