Viatorians join with members of the Conference of Major Superiors of Men in encouraging supporters to contact the Department of Homeland Security headquarters to demand immigration reform.

Hello, my name is (insert name) from (Location: City, State). As a person of faith, I am calling DHS Leadership to demand humane changes on immigration policies. We are asking the Administration and the Department of Homeland Security to honor the dignity and rights of all immigrants and to:

1. Recognize the sacred covenant, internationally recognized, legal right to seek asylum
2. Stop the Remain in Mexico Program
3. Stop the use of the “metering list”
4. Make Due Process the standard NOT the exception
5. Collaborate with NGOs and local communities to support and expand humane services for Asylum Seekers
6. Provide additional funding for immigration courts and asylum officers
7. Grant Latinx Catholic Leadership Coalition a face-to-face meeting with the Acting Secretary of DHS
