The feast of St. Viator is always a special day at his namesake school in Chicago. This year, despite everything being turned upside down because of the pandemic, the tradition carried on. Students learned about their 4th century patron saint, and celebrated his legacy, with gusto!
“The man named Viator set in motion a tradition of teaching and evangelization that lives on in each of you, your children, and anyone that has been blessed to participate in some way in our parish,” said Principal Lisa Rieger. “Viator is known for being the patron saint of catechists; a teacher of sorts that spread the good news of the Gospel.”
