St. Viator School in Las Vegas turns 50 this year and its administrators are planning a yearlong celebration.
It kicks off with a special Mass on Sunday, concelebrated by Viatorians at the parish, including Fr. Richard Rinn, pastor, Fr. Lawrence Lentz, associate pastor and Fr. William Haesaert.
“We’re celebrating 50 years of service to the Las Vegas community,” says Kathleen Daulton, principal.
After Mass, parishioners will be encouraged to tour the school and learn more about its newest program, the Micah Program, designed to meet the special needs of all children.
Its mission is the same as the school’s motto, Mrs. Daulton adds, to act justly, love tenderly, walk humbly with God — and each other. (Micah 6:8)
