Anthony and Tommy Gugino may only be 28, but they are wise beyond their years when describing how their experiences in the Viatorian Youth Congress — and growing up in a Viatorian parish in Las Vegas — fueled their faith lives. Both now are active associates in the Viatorian Community and they point to their teenage years as pivotal.
“VYC honestly was the biggest inspiration in my life,” Tommy says. “It kept my faith life alive during college and gave me the motivation and strength to seek out calls to ministry.”
Anthony attended the very first VYC, back in 2010, and he hasn’t missed one since, serving in multiple leadership roles.
“The coolest part for me,” he says, “is to see young people grow in their faith.”
