In the latest Justice & Peace alert published by the Conference of Major Superiors of Men, leaders shared efforts of various religious communities speaking out in response to the refugee crisis.
They were responding to the gospel from this past Sunday, when Jesus responded to the question, “How can I inherit eternal life?” . . . with “You know the commandments, you shall not kill . . . How hard it is for those who have wealth to enter the Kingdom of God.” (MK 10:17-30).
