Today – Sept. 29 – is the Feast of the Archangels – Saints Michael, Gabriel and Raphael.

The prayer card seen above was published and distributed by the Philangeli – a Viatorian confraternity from the past – which means ‘Friends of the Angels.’
In 1957, Fr. William Anson, CSV, was the director of the Philangeli with over 5,000 members enrolled at that time. In 1999, due to limited resources, mailings were curtailed.
The Viatorians still have a special devotion to the Archangels and all angels, although not active as in the past.
