Alleluia! He is risen!

For nearly 2,000 years, Christians around the world have celebrated the great Easter event. We celebrate, not only Jesus’ resurrection, but that we are heirs to the promise that Jesus made that he was preparing a place for us.

This year we have experienced a world-wide pandemic that has prevented us from fully celebrating the Triduum in our traditional ways. We have adapted to entirely new ways of connecting and doing things. Sadly, many people lost loved ones, but because we have so many brave first responders and medical personnel, many lives have also been saved.

That is a cause for celebration. Please remember in your prayers all who are suffering and those who are sacrificing to assist others.

May you and your family have a blessed and peaceful Easter season.
