For the third year in a row, 100% of the graduates from Cristo Rey St. Martin College Prep have been accepted to four-year colleges. And the list is impressive. In this two-minute video, Preston Kendall, president of Cristo Rey St. Martin reflects with Principal Michael Odiotti on just how these graduates advanced in leadership despite all of the obstacles presented to them by the pandemic.
“You hear of all the fallout nationally from the pandemic,” Kendall says, “but it seems like our students have come charging back, better than ever.”
Odiotti credits the return to in-person learning, allowing these seniors to spend the last full year back in the school. As a result, they helped to reintroduce a lot of the school’s traditions, culture and commitment to academic excellence. Here are their thoughts:
