Fr. Corey Brost, CSV, and Bart Hisgen, of the vocation ministry office for the Viatorians, made their second college visit this winter, this time meeting up with Saint Viator High School alumni attending Marquette University in Milwaukee.
The historic St. Joan of Arc Chapel on Marquette’s campus was the setting for the visit, which included a private Mass and casual dinner.
“I want our alums to know that we are committed to their spiritual growth through college and beyond,” Fr. Brost said.
During the visit, Fr. Brost shared other opportunities for spiritual growth, from serving as youth leaders at the Viatorian Youth Congress in August, to the week-long immersion trips offered twice a year in Belize.
In November, Fr. Brost and Bart traveled to the University of Illinois in Champaign, where they gathered with nearly two dozen Saint Viator grads at the university’s St. John’s Catholic Newman Center for a similar visit that included Mass and dinner.
Fr. Brost says he wants to reconnect and affirm students as they continue their college education, keeping them ever mindful of their place in the Viatorian mission.
