Incoming freshmen at Cristo Rey St. Viator in North Las Vegas just wrapped up a two-week, workforce development program, called ACES. In it, students receive business training and an introduction of CRSV academics to prepare them for the rigorous college prep classes and get a head start for a successful school year.

Led by Associate Deborah Perez, Director of the school’s Corporate Work Study Program, the training covers everything from how to introduce yourself and write an email, to the basics of Microsoft Excel and other common business programs.

“Congratulations to our incoming students who completed our two-week summer ACES program to become Royal Ready,” the school said on its Facebook page. “We celebrated their achievement with our annual Tie Ceremony. See you in August, Royals!”
