The Viatorians reached an important milestone this year in their ministry: 60 years in Nevada. Learn in this video about the collaboration — between a Kankakee businessman visiting his daughter and son-in-law in Las Vegas; and the Bishop of Reno-Las Vegas and the Viatorian Provincial — that led to to Viatorians coming west and opening the first Catholic high school in southern Nevada as well as a namesake parish.

Scot Campbell, a vice president for communications for Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas, produced the video. As an active parishioner of the Viatorians’ second parish in the area, St. Thomas More Catholic Community, he has stepped up to create weekly videos for its vibrant Teen Life program, long after his own children went through the program. “I was never involved before,” Scott says. “I credit it all to the Viatorians.”
