Viatorians involved in social justice outreach — including Fr. Corey Brost, CSV, Br. Michael Gosch, CSV and Fr. Tom Long, CSV — attended a two-day Catholic Immigration Integration Initiative Conference in San Diego.
Its keynote speaker was Bishop Robert McElroy of San Diego, who called for civic engagement by Catholics in addressing the critical questions of poverty, immigration and the environment.
The conference was sponsored by the Center on Migration Studies, Catholic Charities of San Diego, and the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice at the University of San Diego.
