Three offices here at the Province Center shared a part-time intern this summer.  Dan ‘DJ’ Horstmann, St. Viator HS grad – Class of 2012 – came on board in July right after the Provincial Assembly.  Now the summer is here and gone and so is DJ already.

DJ worked with Eileen Daday in Communications, Bart Hisgen in Vocations and myself, Joan Sweeney in the Archives.  He was a great help editing videos, creating a PowerPoint presentation, writing news articles, updating the Viatorian website and getting our podcast project off the ground.

DJ heads back to Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT where he is a sophomore in Communications.

Not only did DJ work here, he also held a job at the Chick-fil-A Restaurant in Schaumburg, IL.  Also this summer, he helped Br. Jim Lewnard, CSV, with the Note the Way music ministry and at the week long Viatorian Youth Congress (VYC) that was held at the Bellarmine Retreat House in Barrington, IL.

DJ is an enthusiastic, talented young man with a bright future ahead.  With sincere gratitude, we all wish him the best!
