The Viatorian Community continues to support the Catholic Rural Life Conference, based in Des Moines, that advocates for families making a living in rural America, and promotes their social, economic and spiritual development.
One of Conference’s most recent efforts is a year-long campaign, called “Faith, Food and the Environment.” The initiative is focused devoting a vocation of agriculture as well as examing the challenges of providing sustainable food for a growing world population.
Its first session opened in November in St. Paul, MN and the next one takes place on Feb. 7 during a luncheon discussion at the Conference’s Catholic Social Ministry Gathering in Washington DC.
The Conference’s latest eBulletin offers Advent resources, immigration updates and information about its Rural Life Prayerbook.
