| Fr. Thomas Long, CSV, participated in his second a Witness For Peace delegation to Cali and Buenaventura, Colombia, from August 10 – 20. The purpose was to listen to the stories of people as they struggle against crushing poverty and homicidal violence. A particular concern was the possible effects of the proposed free trade agreement with the U.S. would have on the small farmers and business people. |
