The five regions of the Province of Chicago celebrated the Feast of St. Viator on October 21st, 2009 with special Masses followed by dinner.

In the Arlington Heights/Chicago region, Viatorians gathered at Saint Viator High School for an all school morning Mass with students and faculty.  The community later gathered at the province center for evening prayer followed by a meal during which senior members of the region shared their experience of what it means to be a Viatorian.

Members of the Bourbonnais/Kankakee region held a prayer service for deceased Viatorians at Maternity BVM Cemetery where several deceased members of the province are buried.  Candles were placed on each of the Viatorian headstones.  Afterwards, a meal was shared at a nearby restaurant.

The Viatorians in the Belize, Colombia and Henderson/Las Vegas regions of the province also celebrated St. Viator Day with special Masses and dinners.  They enjoyed the opportunity to gather with one another in prayer and community on our feast day.
